Joan, a young lady being escorted to prision on a train by a detective escapes when the train wrecks. She is taken in by a socialite who lost everything in the stock market crash. Joan becomes a pawn in the socialite's plan to regain her wealth. Lots of railroad action follows on the Transcontinental Limited as the plot unfolds. Stars include Hedda Hopper as Mrs. Marian Radcliffe, Marceline Day as Joan Lane, Nick Stuart as Ronald Stanhope and Bryant Washburn as William Mortimer.
