In Volume 4 of Short Lines & Branch Lines, we’ll cover the Raritan River Railroad, the Wellsville, Addison and Galeton or WAG railroad and the Niagara Junction Railway.
We’ll begin with operations on the Raritan River railroad in northeast New Jersey during the last year or so of operation before being absorbed into Conrail in April of 1980
We’ll then head out to northwestern Pennsylvania to view operations on the Wellsville, Addison and Galeton with GE center-cab locomotives and the transition to EMD F7 motive power.
And finally, we’ll head to Niagara Falls, New York to look at the operations on the all-electric Niagara Junction Railway
