Tour "George Washington's Railroad" from The Mines to The Lake during the Fifties and Sixties in Clear Block Productions' VIGNETTES OF THE CHESEPEAKE AND OHIO.
Veteran Photographers Vic Ketcham, Joe Slanser, and Karl Walters visited famous C&O locations such as Rainelle, Huntington, Columbus and Toledo to film the Last of Steam, and First-and-Second Generation Diesels. Included are views of H-4 2-6 6-2's and K-4 2-8-4's, F-7's and E-8's, S-2's and SD-18's, RSD-7's and of course GP-7's and -9's. Also included are glimpses of Appalachian neighbors Virginian, and Louisville and Nashville.
So, join Clear Block as we tour perhaps the most colorful of the Appalachian Coal Roads, to witness the seamless blending of endless coal trains with Manifests and Varnish, in "VIGNETTES OF THE CHESAPEAKE AND OHIO".
